April: What's In My Cart
April is here and my soul is defrosting.
Not only is April the best month because it’s my birth month, but it’s also officially SPRING.
My jasmine plants are blooming, the sun sets a little later, and my body seems to internalize all the new animal activity and I’m filled with a surge of life and energy!
Over the last couple years, I’ve taken note of the pieces I grab the most when the weather gets a little warmer and I want to be cute and comfortable and really lean into the season without being too trend-driven.
As I enter my 30’s, I especially try to focus on buying and sourcing pieces that I can wear for multiple seasons, that are good quality fabrics, timeless colors, and interesting silhouettes that I can lean on.
I am also purchasing pieces with spring AND summer vacation in mind. I don’t want to have to buy a bunch of new clothes before a trip, I want to love my wardrobe enough that I can just add a fun new piece or a new accessory to spice it up!
